How to Bypass Paliyekkara Toll - Road Number 2
This route has more advantage than the other one. The distance is much more less
But the roads are small. lot of twists and turns. You may expect bad condition of the road
Still drive just 4Kms more you can save the Toll amount for a tea break.
Total distance is 8.3 Kms so you have to run an additional 4Kms only.

Going from Amballoor to Thrissur
The thing you first remember is just take a left turn after the bridge of Manali river. Finding this left turn is a very trick one. You want to search more than one time to find the left turn road.The condition of the road is somewhat good now.

Head north on NH544 toward Amballur - Chimminy Dam Rd/Amballur - Varandarappilly - Palappilly Rd
Pass by Amballur Bus Stop (on the left in 600 m)
2 min (1.4 km)
Continue to Chittissery Eravakkad Rd
7 min (2.2 km)
Turn right onto Chittissery Eravakkad Rd
Pass by Palathingal House (on the left)
2 min (900 m)
Turn right onto Paliyekkara - Eravakkad Rd
2 min (1.1 km)
Follow NH544 to Marathakkara - Kallur Rd in Thrissur
You can take diversion from Puthukkad Church to reach POOCHIÑNIPADAM (7 KM) on Kodungallur -Thrissur State Highway and right turn to reach Thrissur (10 Km) 4 km extra ride. One side toll is 75/-. Especially when your vehicle is not fixed with Fastag. You will have to pay 75/- For return journey. Using this route you can save 150/- by just for a extra drive of 4+4 8 km
